My great-grandfather, James Montgomery Hendershott was a 1st cousin to Robert Henry Hendershot, so we are related! I have the Civil War Pension Files on both, as well as my great-granduncles, William Wallace Hendershott and George W. Hendershott. I also have a private MyFamily.com site, "Hendershot/Hendershott Descendants" for the Hendershot C clan that descend from John Hendershot (1720)/1st- Ann Schooley; 2nd- Catherine Bodine.
