I'm looking for my 2nd great grandfather James H Hibbard. His Declaration of recriut in his military records says on February 21st 1864 when he enlisted in the U.S.Army in Wabash Indian he was 36 years and one month old. I'm only guessing that he was born about 1828 in January. His records also say he was born in Hamilton County Ohio and his occupation was a Mason. I believe he may have mustered out of the army near Louisville Kentucky in 1865. This is the first I've found any information on him since the 1860 Grant County Indiana Census. Any help on James or his ancestors will be greatly appreciated.
