hibbard family.net I think
the hibbard association lists his son Robert b 1612 salisbury wiltshire UK as the 1634 (?) -1639 emmigrant to the Mass Bay colony w gov winthrop. as do quite a few of the hibbard websites.
conversely he may of been a john hibbart as you say.with his dad the rev henry born 1547 yorkshire city or county i don't know. henry wife is a barbara.
have you tried the winthrop society dedicated to the descendants of the great migration of the 1630's.
another cousin mentions that his relative edmund hibbert born 1544 same location, may have lived only 10 miles away, a half days journey.
