Katie, John Robert Hillier is my mother-in-law's, Harriett Lillian Hillier, father. Harriett is still alive and in excellent health at 92 yrs and counting. She married Clement Hann 1912-1994 and had four children, the third one, Winston George, is my husband. So there is your cousin!
Incidentally, I received a photo from Ann's papers of a Bessie Hann whom I have traced a little. The lady in the pic. bears a striking resemblance to my husband's only sister, Emily Hann Rees so that made me go over my notes again and voila! Bessie whose complete name was Elizabeth Pike Hann was the sister of my husband's grandfather, George William Gabriel Hann.
