Looking for the Sarah Holland, b. 1841 who married John Jefferson Hill, prob. Platte Co., MO. though he was born in Prestonsburg KY 1831. He volunteered for the 11th Regiment Cavalry, MO Volunteers in 1862. He may have volunteered because she died, because I have him marrying Jemimah Packmore in 1863. Looking for children and descendants who might know something about John Jefferson Hill's father Ephraim Hill (m. Elizabeth "Betsey" May of prestigious May family of Prestonsburg, KY. John Jefferson Hill was the oldest child, so perhaps descendants know something. Had 2 sisters who married Campbells of OK if that rings a bell.
