Is anyone working on HOLLINGSHEAD living in Arkansas during late 1800s - present
My Hollingsheads are descended from John believed to be the emigre, Benjamin born in Maryland, fought in revolution, Ezekiel who was born c 1815 Plantersville ALABAMA
Ezekiel and his wife Eliz/Eliza/Elizabeth Hanna/Hammoc had children:
The first 4 I have heard about from childhood from other family members:

Frank was CSA served with a Missippi unit co F 12 or 13 MS, lived in Lauderdale Co Tennessee after the war, moved to Arkansas, applied for pension; died before it was awarded is buried in Arkansas has descendants
* * William Ezekiel b. 8-04-1841 AL (m) Julie Anne Averitt Was CSA; 20 Ala, lived in Lauderdale Co. TN after the war in proximity to Frank per 1880 census, he applied for TN Confederate pension, died July 9, 1894 in Ripley, Lauderdale Co., TN. has descendants
* * Thomas Jefferson (m) Sally Summer b c 1856
1880 census lists Tom and Sally living in proximity to James and Josie in Haywood County have little information concerning him, believe he had at least 1 child, met a descendant of Tom's at Coleman Hollingshead reunion in Lonoke Arkansas several years ago
* * James (m) Josephine "Josie" Summer b 1858 d Sept 1881 James and Josie are my G Grandparents. They married in Tennessee Haywood Co, their first child was Anna Elizabeth b 1879, their second child, William washington was born 13 SEP 1881 in Lauderdale Co 4 days after the death of Jim
What Jim and Josie were doing in Lauderdale CO is a guess, perhaps went to visit, perhaps Jim took sick, or was injured causing his death, given the time and place cannot believe the pair set out with a 2 year old and a last stages of pregnancy woman for an afternoon jaunt on horseback, believe Jim to be buried in Lauderdale Co TN
Josie remarried, had two more daughters: QueenAnn and Katie said Kitty, and lived in Arkansas, she is buried near Little Rock, has descendants
I have seen indications that the next 4 are also children of Zeke and Eliz but know nothing of them including if they actually are children of Zeke and Eliz

* Elizabeth C. Hollingshead married A. J. Sullivant 27 Dec. 1857 in Perry Co., AL.
* Alexander b c 1839 in Alabama
