Some years ago, a kind gentleman (Edward Howe Duane) from Paxton, Mass. sent me a booklet regarding his How line. The name of the booklet is "A Branch From the Tree." (1983)
(This book was actually compiled and written by Mr. Duane.)

Some of the How/Howe names mentioned in this book are:

John How
Samuel How
Nehemiah How
William How
Barton How
Barton How, Jr.
Lyman Alfred How
Elsie Mae How
Eva Ethel How
Charles Edward How
Edith Ellen How
Marcellus Charles How
Elizabeth Gertrude How
Helen Louise How
Louis Edward How
Louise Lumina How
Marcellus How, Jr.
Linda Mary How
Stephen Louis How
Rodney Erwin How
Tammy Ann How
Marc Edward How
Jennifer Marie How

Note: Some of the above people used the HOWE spelling/others HOW.

If you think one/or more of your ancestors is mentioned above, and you cannot find Mr. Duane's booklet in your area - please let me know. I will be happy (AS TIME PERMITS) to look up your ancestor/or ancestors in this offering.

Fran
(A Howe descendant - but from another Howe line in NC.)
