All I know about the Reynolds line is that Mary Reynolds Hopkins was the daughter of Lieut. James Reynolds. She married Benjamin Hopkins in RI in 1803-4. Their eldest son, William Clark, was born in 1806 in RI. He is my part of the tree. Four more children were born in RI,seven more,including twin girls in NY. I have their names,some b and d dates, and some spouses. Benjamin Hopkins is buried at Smyna, NY in same grave as Noah who died the day before his father, March 26,1839. Mary Reynolds and six children moved to IL, where the three elder sons had emigrated. Mary Reynolds Hopkins d August 30,1873, Oswego, IL and is buried there.
