I am trying to identify the various Hubbards in Halifax & Pittsylvania counties in Virginia. Does anyone have any idea who the Jacob Hubbard is that married Mary Kerby? Jacob is listed in the 1767 Pittsylvania County, VA tithe list in the George Jefferson district along with the Kerbys. Mary appears to be the daughter of John Kerby of Pittsylvania Co., VA: Abstracts of Pittsylvania County, Virginia Wills, 1767 – 1820. Compiled by Lela C. Adam.
