Luther A Hubbard, aged 76, one of the early pioneers of this vicinity, passed away Tuesday morning at his home five miles east of the Pepper Mill corners. He had been in poor health for some time but had been confined to the house only four weeks. he was born on the farm where he died and all his life was spent there. His wife died three years ago and the only surviving relatives are two nephews, Charley Earl of Lapeer and Milo Earl of Imlay City, and one niece, Mrs. Charles Palmer of Lapeer. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the house, Rev. L. W. Bishop officiating. Burial in Mt. Hope cemetery.
