James Hubbard of Gravesend was my ancestor. I have read the books suggested by New York Historical Society and also been to Langham, UK and looked at the parish record book and visited with the Langham History Society. I can't find evidence that James came with siblings. It is unclear to me but I have seen the entries about his parents and birth in Langham, England. Are you the Bill Willis who is writing a book about Gravesend? I was told by the Langham, England people that you had contacted them. I am interested in any new or any corrections to my information.
