Pioneer Thumb of Michigan HUBBARD. What happned to Frank W. HUBBARD b.

Descendant of George Hubbard b. 1601 of Middletown, CT.
Frank W Hubbard April 16, 1863 Port Huron, MI was the son of Langdon HUBBARD Michigan thumb, Lumber Baron, who founded the town of Huron, MI.
Frank HUBBARD (raised in CT by his aunt and uncle) helped his Dad sell off the former timber acreage burned by the thumb fire and otherwise to immigrant farmers. He became a financier to enable the loans and opened a bank in Bad Axe and other parts of the thumb area.

Frank W. Hubbard Moved to Grosse Pointe, MI abt 1913 lived Lakeside Court. He vacationed on Gasparilla Island by the 1930's I still find him living in 1937..........

Frank HUBBARD m. Elizabeth LOCKWOOD (dau of Railroader, Col. Lockwood of CT.)
had 3 children:
1)Caroline L Hubbard b. Sept. 1894
2)Annabell Ruth Hubbard b. Jan. 1898
3)Frank Langdon Hubbard b. Jan 1900
