Betty, I'm trailing right behind you! I am trying to establish a Hoover from Frederick County as well. I am trying to figure out who are the parents of Henry W. Hoover, b. abt. 1814. His lineage resided in Frederick County Virginia just outside of Winchester in the Rt. 50W corridor. He married Susan Carpenter in 1842 - Frederick County. He, however, is not listed on any of the Wills I've seen. I've been checking the rolls of Revolutionary soldiers..but it's anyone's guess - as to whether one of these soldiers is his Father or Grandfather...His Father and Mother would have been born somewhere in the years of 1772-1796
