I rescued a news clipping from Somerset, PA, thinking this family may be connected to my HUFF line. I'm not sure they are. So I'd like to find someone closer in relationship to send it to. All I ask is what I paid for it-which will include postage and a mailer to keep it safe. It reads: Aug 2, 1913. $3.00 Per Year FOUR GENERATIONS OF THE WELL-KNOWN HUFF FAMILY Eighty-Four. Aug 1--Four generations of the Huff family are shown in the above picture, the head of which is Mrs. Phoebe Huff, of near this place. Mrs. Huff is the widow of George B. Huff, who was a veteran of the Civil war and a memberof the Seventh Ohio battery, light infantry. He served 3 years and 11 months and re-enlisted. He was at Vicksburg when Lee surrendered and assisted in raising the flag on the court house. Shown in the picture are: Seated the the right, Phoebe A. Huff, aged 61 years; to the left her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Atkinson, of Venetia, aged 42 years; to the rear holding the child, her granddaughter, Mrs. Sadie Pickern, of Large, aged 19 years, and her great-granddaughter, Ethel Pickern, aged two years.
