Mystery: A headstone was found in a farm field just west of American Falls, ID recently. The inscriptions reads:
Joseph H Huff
D 20 Aug 1912
Age 58 yrs.
It is currently unknown as to who he was or where he came from. The headstone was relocated to a small country cemetery about two miles from where it was found. An Episcopal Church once stood in the area where the headstone was found, so there may have been some graves there that were covered in weeds over time. A local farmer took the initiative to relocate the headstone (with law enforcement, etc. help), so that it would be preserved and people would know that Joseph died in the area.
Any info would be greatly appreciated regarding this man.
