there are 2 richard huffs one in ohio co and one in mercer county KY.abt 1800-1880 supposed to be born in va. Is any one able to identify and separate them ? My richard was the father of elizabeth,b abt. 1803 in ky. she married thomas richards jr. i have proof on marriage license that richard gave goldsberry huff pemission to sign for him for eliza'a wedding consent. . as he is unable to write.So, the richard over there in mercer county who's father is Dr Wm Huff can't be the father of richard in ohio co ky. he was called colonel and i feel reasonably certain he could write. does any one have Bible records, marriage records,probates,etc. there is a lot of info out there on this family. but no one seems to have any thing documented. thanks. i sure appreciate any thoughts or documents.
