Hull, son of Dr. Laurens Hull, of Angelica, N.Y., was born at Bridgewater, N.Y., Dec. 26th, 1819. He settled in Pike, Wyoming Co.,NY, in 1856, and for several years had a woolen mill there. From Pike, NY, he removed to Arcade, Wyoming Co., NY, where he is a well-known manufacturer. He was elected to the Legislature in 1869, and re-elected in 1870. In 1873 he was appointed inspector of customs for the district of Niagara, port of Suspension Bridge, which position he still occupies. Sept. 5th, 1848, he was married to SUSAN C.
