Wylie, I have it on good authority that this will is of the second wife of Charles Humphries who was the son of Charles and Mary Bennett Humphries of Chester Co. SC. Brent Holcomb's book on the Humphries states on page 9 that this Charles married Elizabeth Holland Martin after the death of his first wife, who was also named Elizabeth. I'm sure you know that Charles left a will dated 1837 leaving his property to his children and wife Elizabeth. Holcomb reports that Charles and his second wife did not have any children together. When she died 12 years after her husband, it looks like she left her estate to her own family and did not include any of her Humphries stepchildren. Some of the heirs may be her own children from a previous marriage, but it looks like she left most of what she had to nieces and nephews, so maybe she had no living children when she died. Hope this helps. Kudos to Carolyn for making the will available on line. Elizabeth Humphries's will also appears in the book "Union County South Carolina Will Abstracts 1787-1849" by Brent Holcomb.
