It is very unlikely that anyone who knew your father before 1956 will get your internet message. The internet is just not that good.
If you want to find out about your father and his ancestors you must know EXACTLY where he came from. Once you know the place it may be possible to contact someone there and to get records from there if you wish.
If you know the place it is also possible to rummage through the Hungarian phone book to see if anyone with that name still lives in the place your father came from.
