Where I can look for my ancestors?

Hello,
according to my family story, my ancestor name was GÁBÖR LÖRÁNT - he had arrived to Poland about 1849 after civil war in Hungary. Next he married unknown woman and had eight children.
I'm looking for information about GÁBÖR LÖRÁNT and his family - beginning of XIX century

Does anybody help me?
