You had better find out EXACTly where this family lived. The "Hungary" of 1853 was about 3 times larger than it's modern day counterpart. The territory that the new Hungary lost in 1920 is today in 4 or 5 neighboring countries.
If the Bartay family were ethnic Germans you are not likely to find descendents still in Hungary because of WWII.
If all you know is what you have posted the best shot you have is riffling thru' the Hungarian on-line telephone book to see what you can dig up.
Budapest is such a marvelous town you may forget all about the Bartays.
