Hello everybody, I posted a message 7 years ago. I was looking for information about any other Csibi that might be related to my family, but I did not have a real answer. I know it is a difficult issue, but I would really appreciate if anyone might help me to know a little bit more about my roots.
The information I can give you is:
My greatgrandfather was born in Ditro- Romania in 1905, and died in Paris in the year of 1945, his name was Andras Csibi.
My greatgrandmother was Elizabeth Niederkirchner, from Bavaria.
My grandfather was born in Budafok (Budapest)- Hungary in the year 1922 and he went to Venezuela- Southamerica in the year of 1947 after the second world war, his name is André Csibi.
Currently I am living in southern france but my parents are still in Venezuela.
I think that their religion was amnostic, but i don´t know exactly. I know I had a related (a cousin of my grandfather) in Ann Arbor- Michigan, USA, and his name is Emery Csibi, I also think that he has 2 daughters but I don't know where they are.
