According to the detailed information on that application: Father, Conrad Hentz, immigrated from Becicherecul Mic in 1909 and resided in New Brunswick from 1909 to 1920. Anthony was born 9/26/1909 in New Brunswick but lived from 1911-1923 in Becicherul. Therefore, Anthony was a U.S. citizen. One would presume from this information that Conrad's wife took Anthony back to Romania when he was only two, and that Conrad returned to Romania in 1920. Anthony would have been only 13 or 14 when this passport application was made. Did he and his family then return to the U.S.? It is puzzling that I have not been able, so far, to find immigration records for any of them. Do you know the name of Anthony's mother? Notify Administrator about this message?
