More confusion comes from the data from the 1930 census for New Brunswick. According to this, Conrad and Rosa immigrated in 1919. This has to be an error; it should be 1909. Three children were living with them in 1930--Anna, Mary, and Peter, all born in New Jersey.
This suggests that Anthony lived in Romania between the ages of 2 and 13, but without his parents. Perhaps he was raised there by relatives and rejoined his parents in (or after) 1923.
This all makes for a very interesting family history.
I have been unable to find immigration records for any of them (Conrad, Rosa, Anthony), nor 1910 or 1920 census records. If you have located any of these, what names can they be found under?
