This message is to anyone familiar with the families of Vesprem County, Hungary.
I am searching for family history of the Jozev Timmer family who migrated from Vesprem County to Bethlehem, Pa. just before and after the beginning of the 20th Century This family also appears to be connected to the Czaun and Fodor families of the same region.
My connection is that of my wife whose mother Maria Timmer came to this country in 1913, probably at the age of 11 to join her family in Bethlehem. Maria Timmer's grandmother is believed to be Veronica Czaun of Totvaszony in Vesprem and Maria's sister, Barbara, was was married to a Fodor (first name I don't know) whose family also was from that area of Hungary.
I have received some information from a sender whose family knew the Timmers of Bethlehem, but I have lost track of the sender and would like to contact him again. (I don't give his name because I'm not sure of the privacy issues that may be involved.)
