Babus'ka (bubooshka) is a legitimate surname among Slovaks who were all citizens of Hungary until 1920. The femanine form is Babus'kova. The reason I know this is there was such a family in my family's village.
Plenty of Magyars had and still have Slovak and Croatian surnames.
