Vera Neuman Weiss/Birth record in Fejer County

I'm headed to Hungary next month, and I think I've just discovered my grandmother-- Vera Neuman Weiss's hometown from an Ellis Island manifest (she apparently arrived in 1910 at the age of 25). I think the town is likely to be Pusztavam because on the manifest it is listed as Pusztaway which doesn't appear to exist under that spelling in Hungary. Does anyone know how to research birth records there? Are they kept at the county (Fejer) or city level-- nearest city is Szekesferhervar. Were most of the Jewish birth records wiped out during the occupation? Once I get there, can anyone tell me how to get help because I'm a non-Hungarian speaker? I know these are a lot of questions. Any limited help would appreciated.
