To check on my guess, I accessed lists of the most common surnames in the villages of Kristy and Krisovska Lieskova as of 1995. Here's the list for Kristy:

As you can see, families with the surname Bihary are still found there. If you input Krisovska Lieskova, you will see that the same is not true there.
