My ancestors in the father’s line lived in Kisbányácska-Széphalom *, Alsóregmec. The father of my great-grandfather was born int he beginning of the years 1830’s in Kisbányácska. He’s wife, Elisabeth Hornyák was, who origined from Alsóregmec. They took marriage at 1854. They had more children, and when the census 1869 was, they lived in Kisbányácska. My great-grandfather was born around 1860. The Pestovits-s were Roman Catholics. My grandfather was born 1904, he’s sweethmother was Anna Kocsis, Greek-Catholic from Sátoraljaújhely. ÍI would like to find the descendants of my great-grandfather’s brothers.
= The original name of Széphalom was (Kis)bányácska. Its „new” name got by Ferencz Kazinczy, who lived and burried there. Ferenc Kazinczy was the one of the most important Hungarian language developer, he’s home was the central of the Hungarian literature throw decades. Ferenc Kazinczy was important person in the Hungarian Jacobinus- perty, and therefore he was closed to prison till 1804 (first he was condemned to death) You can see all of the towns in the ma pof Hungary:
