As the Story goes: Orson Hurlburt died on his way home from the Civil War,10 miles West of Chicago. His home was in Eaton Co., Michigan.
His wife's name was Luceba,last name unknown. His children were: Milton born abt. 1844, NY. Charles born abt. 1847, NY. Aaron born abt. 1850, NY. Eunice born August 2, 1851 in NY. Sybil was born Feb.9, 1853, in Windsor Twp., Eaton Co., MI. Orson born 1856 MI. & Lilly born 1859, MI.
My family line is from SYBIL HURLBURT. She married Sabin Berry abt. 1871. I would like to find her marriage date & place of marriage, Mothers maiden name and place where Sybil & other members of her family were living in 1870. Her mother is not found on the 1870 census of MI. as head of household. Her sister Eunice is listed as wife of Ransome Gillette in Ingham CO., MI.
