Thank you for your reply. From my research, Deacon Simeon SEARS was born 7 Oct 1776 Sandisfield, MA, and died 1864 in PA, s/o Paul SEARS Sr. and Elizabeth SLAWTER. He married Mary HULBERT 2 Nov 1797 Enfield, CT. Per your referenced sources, she was born 17 Jul 1777 Enfield, CT but she could not have died on 22 Dec 1800 per the birth records of Sandisfield, MA, which shows the children of Simeon and Polly (Polly being a nickname for Mary) as:
1. Polly Hulburt SEARS, b. 23 Nov 1800 Sandisfield, MA
2. Artimesha SEARS, b. 8 Dec 1802 Sandisfield, MA
3. Julius SEARS, b. 3 Apr 1807 Sandisfield, MA
4. Emily SEARS, b. 17 Apr 1809 Sandisfield, MA
5. Simeon SEARS, b. 13 Jul 1811 Sandisfield, MA
6. Edward SEARS, b. 9 Dec 1813 Sandisfield, MA
I was questioning Simeon and Polly because of all the "trees" online which show my Simeon SEARS of VT as married to a Tryphena or Polly HURLBURT but actually his wife was probably named Sarah.
