The catalog of the Freeman's Auction House sale of Americana on 16 April 2005 on p. 47 pictures a watercolor portrait of Asa Hurlbut of Farmington, CT, mid-19th century. I am scanning this portrait in case any of the Hurlbut descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Somebody in the family ought to have it--it's too good to be missed by the family. My email address can be found by clicking on my name above. If it were a portrait of a Mr. Pease, I'd sure want someone to do the same for me. Bill Pease, Lancaster, PA Notify Administrator about this message?
