Samuel Hurlbut (d. 6 Dec 1710) and his wife Mary had a son Jonathan, who on 27 Nov 1723, conveyed to Abraham Gillet of Durham 18 acres in part of a farm formerly belonging to Hurlbut's "Grandfather Richard Beckley."
Samuel Hurlbut's wife Mary's first child was born in Dec 1668 and her last child was born in 1695.
Richard Beckley had a daughter Mary christened 12 Sep 1647 in New Haven, which would have made her 22 when her first child was born and 47 when her last child was born, which fits easily within the normal child-bearing years.
We can therefore conclude that Samuel Hurlbut (d. 1710) married Mary Beckley, d/o Richard Beckley.
