I am trying to locate information on the ancestry of the Ruth Hurlbut (sometimes Hurlburt) who married Timothy Jenner in Pittsford, VT, probably December 1, 1796 and later moved to Harmony Township, Chautauqua County, NY.
Ruth is probably descended from the same line of Hurlbuts that produced Nathaniel Hurlbut who married Sarah Jenner in Woodbury, CT in 1708. It is even possible she is a direct descendent of that Nathaniel.
