Homer HULBERT, b. approx. 1837

My great-great grandparents JOSIAH DAVIS (b. 1813) and HULDAH (CALVERT) DAVIS (b. 1819) were living in Moorefield, Harrison County, Ohio in the 1850 census with their two children Louisa J. (b. PA) and James McJ. Davis (b. OH) AND HOMER HULBERT, age 13, b. PA. The 1850 census also shows Homer going to school. I would like to find how Homer fits into the Davis family. Josiah Davis was also born in PA to Hezekiah Davis and Elizabeth (Tingley) Davis. Does anyone know if there's a connection to Tingley and Hulbert or how Homer fits into the Davis family. I can also be reached at knewstead@aol.com. Thanks, Karen Davis Newstead
