From the pictures I got it appears that John who died in 1851 is the stone in the very SE Corner of the Cemetery. It's hard to read directly, but if you apply some filters (in my case I was able to achieve the filtering by altering the angle of my lcd monitor) that this son of P and M Taylor named John died in 1851 stands out pretty starkly.

I'm not sure I could have read it that way without the filtering trick though.

So, the story continues to make sense with the information from the headstones.
