I am researching the descendants of John and Eliazbeth (WILSON MCKENZIE) DOTY. John's descendancy (and mine)is:
1) Edward of Mayflower
2) Samuel
3) Edward
4) John
5) Peter H (Rev War Patriot)

John and Elizabeth came to Indiana in 1821 with 9 of their 10 children. WIlliam was the first white child born in Johnson Co IN. In 1823, John and his two oldest sons (Peter and Samuel) registered 40 acres each in Johnson Co IN at the land office in Cincinnati.
I am writing a book of the first 4 generations in Indiana (John thru my grandfather James Harrison Doty, I). It will be along the lines of the Mayflower book series. I would like to include as much information about each person as possible, including birth, marriage, death, burial, affliations, religion, education and occupation. i am trying to document everything as I go with best available documentation. I would also like to include pictures. Any help would be apprecaited.
