From old newspaper /mid 1900's/ search in Shelby co Ohio; I made note of a John Oster from Milford In. visiting the Dowden family ,then went to Marysville to visit Warren Crothers. These are my grandfathers, but the surname Oster has not surfaced in my genealogy search. From Indiana connections the counties were Allan,Adams and Delaware for the Dowden surname. Do these surnames ring any bells in other families?
