Interested in more info on the descendants of William McAfee Jr. & Rebecca Swigart in Marshall Co, Indiana area.
William McAfee Jr. died in Wayne Co, Ohio and Rebecca Swigart remarried there to Joseph Ulrich. Some of William & Rebecca's MCAFEE children stayed in Ohio while a few moved to Marshall Co, Indiana.
Looking for more info on these McAfee descendants:
(1)Samuel Ray McAfee b. 2/24/1860 OH d. aft. 1937 who married a Julia unknown. Samuel & Julia's children:
William Derlin McAfee who m. Florence L. McCloughan in 1911.
Minnie E. McAfee who m. Fred I. Berkeypile
Henry Franklin McAfee who m. Edna L. Jones in 1915.
(2) Elmer Elsworth McAfee b. 8/8/1861 OH d. 3/15/1941 IN who m. Eva May Gantz. Their children, Eldon G. McAfee b. 1906 d. 1940 and Lena Francis McAfee b. 1909 d. 1959 who m. James Clark Wood. Lena & James Wood had children:
John William Wood & James Clark Wood II.
Note: I am a descendant of William McAfee Jr.'s brother, Mathew McAfee, who married Margaret McElhinney in Wayne Co, Ohio.
