Hello,

I am assisting my father in writing his biography. He grew up in Plymouth, Indiana and joined Boy Scout Troop #57 in 1941. His scout leader was Mr. M. D. Strombeck who my dad recalls was the owner of the town cleaners and the troop leader for many many years.

Mr. Strombeck had a great influence on my dad who lost his father at the age of 7. My dad looked up to him and learned many things from Mr. Strombeck while in his scout troop - even attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in 1944. He recalls that Mr. Strombeck was a great outdoorsman and helped many of the young scouts in town go on to become good citizens.

We'd like to include a photo of Mr. Strombeck or even a photo of his business in Plymouth in the 1940s in the book. We'd love to hear from anyone related to him and would really appreciate any photographs you would be willing to share.

Many thanks in advance.

Cathy Riddle O'Connor
