Looking for any information regarding Henry S. Hawthorn aka H.S./or Harry or his son-in-law James Hiram Johnson.
We know Henry and his family lived in Jeffersonville, Clark Co. Indiana as he is in the 1850 U.S.Census there. His occupation was shoemaker.
His son-in-law apparently lived in the Tipton, Indiana area in his later years and possibly died and was buried in that area, so far we don't know where. Prior to his death he lived for a time with his daughter Mary A. Johnson Steele. [Her parents were Josephine B. {Hawthorn) Johnson and James Hiram Johnson. His wife predeceased him as he was a widower circa 1902 thought to be the time of his passing.]
