Rittenhouse Family Shelby, Hancock and Boone Co's

I am looking for information on the Rittenhouse family.

Father's name was John, born 1820 - death date unknown
Mother's name was Malinda E. born 1823 - death date unknown

John Rittenhouse and Malinda E. Smith married in Shelby County 9/29/1841

They were living in Hancock County in 1860, Shelby County in 1870, and Boone County in 1880.

They had several children: Mary, Martha, Harriet, Peter, James, Julia and Oliver P.M.

I am particularly interested in any information on John and Malinda's parents, but would also be interested in finding out about their descendants.

Any info would be appreciated!
