I found Merrell in MI in 1930 but can't seem to find the family in 1920. Merrell's WWI Registration Card says he's in Terre Haute in 1918.

According to the Wabash Valley Obituary index Richard H. Fetters died in 1923 - his obituary appeared in the Tribune on March 5th. You can order a copy for $2.
