1880 - Yes, you are correct. On the 1880, Benjamin F Williams, Sr. lists his birthplace as Illinois.
In 1910 in the Castor Township, Stoddard Co, MO census, he lists it as Tennessee. (In 1910, he's living with his son Benjamin Franklin Williams, Jr.)

-Flora Jane Foster m. 11/4/1891 in Abe Woods’ residence White Co., IL
-Sarah L. Barber (b. 1877) m. 11/1899 in Bernie MO
-Molly Hartle m. 1/31/1915 in Bloomfield, MO
-Leecy Ann (Bolin) Duncan Cates m .10/14/1921 in Bloomfield, MO
You mentioned 1900 - Have you found either BF Williams Sr. or Jr. on the 1900 census? I haven't found them on 1860, 1870, or 1890 or 1900 censuses. If you have any information, I would love to have it.
