I'm looking for any information on the Andrew Rock family, Hamilton County, Delaware, in 1850 census. Andrew Rock age 88 b. MD; Elizabeth age 48 b. PA; Mariah age 20 b. IN; William age 32 b. IN; Elijah W. age 16 b. IN; Rachel age 14 b. Marion County, Mabelsville, IN; Elizabeth age 12 b. IN. Trying to find ANY information on this family in order to work backwards-----Elizabeth is either the wife or daughter or daughter-in-law of Andrew Rock. Andrew Rock died btn 1850-1860 because the family is found in Illinois in 1860 without him. Andrew's Rev. War pension request (he was denied) says he was born in Baltimore, MD abt. 1762. He says he fought at Brandywine and Cowpens during Rev. War.
"I was living 12 miles east of Baltimore when I entered the service...since the Revolution, I lived at Cumberland on the Potomac River. I afterward lived near Morgantown in Virginia . Married there and lived there some ten or twelve years, from there I migrated (or emigrated?) to Lawrenceburg Indiana and lived there about 8 years. I have resided in different counties in Indiana to wit in Hancock county and in Shelby County awhile now I live and reside in Hamilton County Indiana"
