My search for the parents of Nathan L. Graham continues. Through census records it has been proven that Joseph Houston Graham is not his father. I found the following and wonder if there is a connection:

       Elizabeth         56                        Kentucky
       William M         19         Farmer                Kentucky
       James F         21         Blacksmith         Kentucky
       Elizabeth         20                        Kentucky

Nathan L. Graham was born about 1827 in Indiana – probably Montgomery County (some say Kentucky) and died before 1880 in Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana and Mary M. Beard who was born about 1832 in Indiana and died January 08, 1876 in Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana at age 44 years – they were married November 11, 1852 in Montgomery County, Indiana. Nathan was a pioneer merchant of Crawfordsville.
