Looking for information on:
James Graham born possibly about 1824 in Kentucky and possibly died August 13, 1873 in possibly Montgomery County, Indiana. He may have had four sons: James, Thomas, Paul, and Arthur Graham. His middle initial may have been “A.” He may be buried at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Union. He may have been a leading merchant of Crawfordsville.

His parents may have been:
Andrew Graham married Elizabeth Northcott (also spelled Northcutt) born 1802 in Flemingsburg, Fleming County, Kentucky and she may have died about 1888 in possibly Union, Montgomery County, Indiana - they married on May 27, 1821 in Fleming County, Kentucky (some say May 1824).
They had two sons:
Nathan L. Graham was born about 1827 in Kentucky (he said Indiana in 1850 and Kentucky in 1860 and 1870 Censuses) and died before 1876 in Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana at the age of 53 years or less; he married Mary M. Beard who was born about 1832 in Indiana and died January 08, 1876 in Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana at age 44 years – they were married November 11, 1852 in Montgomery County, Indiana when Nathan was about age 25 years and Mary was age 20 years. Nathan was a pioneer merchant of Crawfordsville.
2. James Graham.

It is said that Andrew died leaving Elizabeth with two small boys, James and Nathan. They then lived at her father’s until Elizabeth married second John McDaniel, a widower, when they removed to Indiana, near Crawfordsville, where he died. Elizabeth and her sons then lived in Crawfordsville until her death. James and Nathan became leading merchants there.

There is a record in Montgomery County, Indiana of Elizabeth McDaniel who was born in 1807 and died in 1888 and is buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Union. Also listed is a daughter of John and Elizabeth McDaniel named:

3.       Sarah McDaniel born July 12, 1846 and died November 29, 1857 at age 11 years, 4 months and 17 days and is buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Union.

The parents of Elizabeth Northcott were: Benjamin Northcott, Reverend born May 08, 1770 in Chowan County, North Carolina and died April 13, 1851 in Flemingsburg, Fleming County, Kentucky; married first Jane Armstrong born about 1774 in Augusta, Virginia and died in childbirth October 25, 1799 in Flemingsburg, Fleming County, Kentucky – married May 27, 1794 in Hillsboro, Mason County, Kentucky. They had 3 children.
Benjamin married second Martha 'Patsy' O'Dell born August 24, 1781 in Berkeley County, West Virginia and died May 22, 1861 in Flemingsburg, Fleming County, Kentucky – married November 11, 1800 in Fleming County, Kentucky. They had 12 children. Elizabeth was their second child.
