Gray family

To the lady who answered my Gray family query-I know very little about this family. Samuel and Sallie Goss Gray were the parents of my aunt by marriage, and I am asking partly on behalf of her children, my cousins. Samuel was married previously, I don't know her name. On checking, they had Forrest, Arthur and Edith, that we know about. Edith was m to a department store owner, in Chicago, I think, and is buried nr Granny, I think. of Beverly Hillbillies fame. Arthur D. was an ins salesman and teacher, and m to Irene. My Aunt Margaret learned that Sam was indirectly responsible, she thought, for her mother's death, and was reared by her mother's sister, and Sam was not part of her life, so she did not know very much about him. They lived right outside of Eminence, IN, in Morgan Co. I don't know his bd or dd, only that Margaret was b in 1897. On seeing some of Sam's family, though, and that of Jake Gray's sons, who owned Gray Bros Cafeteria at Mooresville, I asked my cousin is that is of the same family, and she thought so. I felt that there was so much resemblance, they had to be related. This is all I know about the family. Mary E. Marley
