What a wonderful thing you are doing. On behalf of a old military brat - I want to say thank you for your work. If Charles was my relative I'd want to have a photo of his memorial.
I checked the 1920 Morgan Co, IN census and found what appears to be Charles' family and it lists some of his siblings. Perhaps this will help in your search by giving their names. Maybe someone can locate one of the brothers in the Martinsville phone directory.

On the Glover genforum board there was a Jan 1999 posting by a lady named Lorraine (Doty) Glover looking for information on the above family. Perhaps she is a relative you would like to contact.
