Early Turpin's

I decend from a Richard "Dick" J. Turpin, Aaron Turpin line in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Aaron's marriage to Mizie Flinchum proves he was from Morgan Co., IN. In 1830 a William Turpin is in Morgan County, Indiana. I know Aaron is buried in North Carolina, where Mizie's (Mizia) family is from. They are at Cedar Hill Primitive Church Cemetery in Pinnacle, NC. My questions are as follows: who is this William, and where did he come from? Does anyone have a connection to Mizie/Mizia/Myra Flinchum? And is there a connection between William Turpin in Morgan County in 1830 and the sell of land to a Thomas Turpin in 1831 at this link: http://www.scican.net/~morglib/genasist/landsal1.html

I know it is a lot, but it is one of the few major mysteries of my family genealogy!
